Purdue Stables was established through the inspiration of Purdue’s Rocky Dancer, an amazing stallion that has proven himself as the top family trail horse and show horse. He has been on countless trails and won countless blue ribbons, including the title of 1997 International Master Stallion Under Saddle. As a 1986 stallion, Rocky Dancer is now retired. He has produced generations of horses that carry on his spirit both on the trail and in the show ring … horses that become part of your soul like no other.  Purdue Stables strives to breed and train quality Rocky Mountain horses to protect and promote the Rocky Mountain breed. The love of the horse and the breed is the motivating factor and the foundation of Purdue Stables.
